I know since being unemployed, it’s looked like I’ve spent a lot of time eating and playing. And who am I kidding, I have spent A LOT of time eating and playing. BUT I’ve actually been working on a couple of things.
I’d also love if you’d follow and double tap like and reblog and tweet and share and talk about and pass it on to any one you think would enjoy it. (Can you hear my subtle pleading tone masked by a carefree whatever attitude?)
Promising new blog. What I love is that the design considers readability — yay, serif! — which I feel too often gets tossed by the wayside in favor of clean design
That’s Bill Powers and Cynthia Rowley standing there on the wood barrier, checking out the surf. The photo is from a story I wrote on them (and their 1971 Mercury Cougar XR-7) for the Times last summer. They’re in the Times again this weekend in this fun story about their action-packed days and nights. The afternoon I spent with them, I was most impressed by how they were always in the moment, their minds engaged and dynamic. It was definitely a fun afternoon. On a related note … summer!
